Extracting an image
There are many ways to extract an image and believe me i've tried most of them.
I found this way the easier and it works. I hope this tutorial will help you.
1.Choose an image and open it.
2. Copy and paste onto a new transparent document. I'm going to use the image below.
3. Click on the pen tool as shown below.
4. Go to the top bar and change your settings to the same as mine.
5. Then using the pen tool, make anchor point to outline the picture. Zoom in to help you. It should look like this:
6. Then join the points together (first and last point) and the right click on the image and select 'Make Selection'.
7. Change the settings to match mine. Click Ok.
8. Your image should now be selected. Now got to Select>Inverse. Go to your keyboard and press backspace/delete. Your background should be deleted.
9. Now press Ctrl + D to deselect. Here's my result:
